This page will guide you through the entire process of ripping video off of any DVD and getting it onto your iPhone. Most steps contain actual screen shots that show you exactly what you will see on your screen and exactly where to click and/or what to look at to perform that step.

WAR: Remember do not copy DVDs that you do not own! It is illegal to make a copy of a movie for use on your device if you do not own the original.
The legality of DVD ripping will vary based on your country of residence. Strongly recommend that you consult your country's copyright and fair use laws before copying any video content.

If you have a video file you wish to convert for you iPhone, simply skip to the Video File to iPhone part (Step 5)

DVD to iPhone

Step 1
Place the DVD you want to rip your video from into your DVD drive.

Step 2
Launch DVD Ripper Deluxe or DVD to iPhone Converter.

Step 3
Go to the DVD tool bar and click “open DVD” or “open IFO” button. This will give you access to two new tabs; Select DVD Drive or IFO Processing.

Step 4
Before you begin ripping your video, note the destination of the video file. This is where your raw DVD rip is going to go and it will be rather large in size. If you want to change the directory that DVD to iPhone Converter will output to, click on the Browse button and navigate to the folder you want and press OK.

Copy video files to iPhone

Step 5
Now that you know where the movie file is going, click on the Rip! button to start converting the DVD to your hard drive.

Once the transcode is complete, your video is ready to be moved to your device. The finished file will be located in the same folder as the specified file it was converting. Simply copy the file using Windows Explorer to your device, or if your device is an iPhone, Apple TV or iPod, import the video into iTunes.
